Día de Europa

El 9 de mayo, la Unión Europea celebra el Día Europa, una fecha que simboliza el éxito de la Unión Europea, como el euro, la bandera, o el himno. El Día de Europa es un día para celebrar la paz, la estabilidad y la ciudadanía europea, puesto que todos los europeos nos sentimos parte de un gran proyecto común. El Día de Europa se celebra en los 27 Estados miembros de la Unión Europea con cientos de actividades y festejos que acercan Europa a sus ciudadanos y hermanan a los distintos pueblos de la Unión.

Feliz Navidad

Desde el Ceip Salvador Allende y en especial desde este blog el equipo de bilingüismo os deseamos una Feliz Navidad y un próspero 2013. Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer

Nuestro alumnado de primero de primaria han preparado junto a sus profesoras y nuestra auxiliar Amelia otro de los más típicos y conocidos villancicos como es el de Rudolph, todos nuestros alumnos vendrán con camisetas marrones y una cornamenta para estar totalmente caracterizados con el personaje principal.

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it
You would even say it glows

All of the other reindeer
They used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas eve
Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright

Then all the reindeer loved him

Nuestro alumnado de 4º de primaria ha preparado para la celebración de Navidad el tema Happy Christmas de John Lennon.

Frosty the snowman

Os proponemos otra canción para trabajar en estas navidades, en este caso se trata de Frosty the snowman y la han preparado nuestros alumnos de 3º de primaria.

Frosty the snowman was a

jolly happy soul,

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

And two eyes made out of coal.

Frosty the snowman was a

fairy tale, they say,

He was made of snow but the children

Know how we came to life one day.

There must have been some magic in that

Old seil hat they found.

For when they put it on his head

He began to dance around.

Oh, Frosty the snowman

Was alive as he could be,

And the children say he could laugh

And play just the same as you and me.

Frosty the snowman knew

the sun was hot that day,

So he said, "Let's run and

We'll have some fun

Now before I melt away."

Down to the village,

With a broomstick in his hand,

Around the square saying,

Catch me if you can.

He led them down the streets of town

Right to the traffic cop.

And he only paused a moment when

He heard him holler "Stop!"

Proponemos como sugerencia de actividad para trabajar en clase esta semana previa a las vacaciones de navidad el aprender este villancico tan conocido y que en nuestro centro llevamos ensayando un par de semanas y que van a interpretar los alumnos de 2º de primaria.
