Conoce a nuestra auxiliar Francesca

Hi! I am Francesca. I am from the United States but was raised in American Samoa and Peru. I then grew up in Alabama, and later, I moved to Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan. After undergrad, I wanted to move and learn from new cultures. So, in 2022 I received the opportunity to teach English as an auxiliar in northern Spain at an infantil and primary school in the small city of Santander. While I loved the beautiful scenery of Santander, I missed the warm weather. This year I moved to Malaga, and got the chance to teach in the wonderful CEIP Salvador Allende.

One of my teaching goals this year is to have every one of my students feel confident in speaking English. And, one of my personal goals this year is to do the Camino de Santiago later this year since I love to hike and be outdoors.

Aquí tenéis a Francesca, ella es de Estados Unidos, pero se crió en América Samoa y Perú, creció en Alabama y más tarde se mudó a Michigan y se graduó en la universidad de este estado. En 2022 tuvo la oportunidad de enseñar inglés como asistente lingüística en un colegio de Santander, en la etapa de infantil y primaria. Aunque le encantaba el paisaje de Santander, echaba de menos el tiempo cálido. Este año ha venido a Málaga, y tiene la oportunidad de enseñar, como ella dice, en el maravilloso colegio Salvador Allende. Uno de sus objetivos es que cada estudiante adquiera confianza para hablar inglés y, una de sus metas personales este año es hacer el Camino de Santiago, ya que le encanta el senderismo y estar al aire libre.
